Role Overview

The Managing Director will lead the organization’s strategic, commercial, and operational direction, driving its next phase of growth and regional expansion.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role — ideal for a seasoned leader who can connect business vision with creative execution, transforming innovation into measurable business results.

The Managing Director will oversee sales, operations, marketing, finance, and HR, ensuring seamless alignment, profitability, and a culture of accountability and excellence.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the long-term business strategy to position the agency as a regional leader in experiential technology.

  • Drive transformation from project-based to recurring revenue models.

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

  • Provide vision and direction for innovation in experiential solutions, client engagement, and operational efficiency.

2. Commercial & Business Growth

  • Lead business development efforts across key regional markets.

  • Implement a strong commercial framework that ensures profitability across all activations.

  • Oversee pricing, client acquisition, and contract negotiations to secure sustainable, high-value partnerships.

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships at a senior level.

3. Operational & Financial Management

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of projects at the highest quality standards.

  • Work closely with the finance team on P&L ownership, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Introduce systems and KPIs to enhance productivity, transparency, and accountability across departments.

  • Manage resources, suppliers, and production partners to optimize costs and maintain quality.

4. People & Culture Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire department heads across technical, creative, sales, and operations teams.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and high performance.

  • Attract and retain top talent while promoting professional growth and team cohesion.

5. Brand & Innovation

  • Strengthen the agency’s market positioning through consistent brand representation, marketing, and partnerships.

  • Champion innovation in experiential technology, ensuring the agency remains at the forefront of the industry.


Candidate Profile

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 10 years in senior leadership roles within experiential, event technology, or creative technology agencies.

  • Proven track record of growing revenue and leading cross-functional teams in a creative business.

  • Deep understanding of UAE and Saudi Arabia’s events and experiential markets.

  • Strong financial acumen — comfortable managing P&L, budgets, and commercial strategies.

  • Experience leading organizational transformation and scaling operations.

  • Arabic language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
